Billionaire Michael Bloomberg is pledging $500 million to end coal- and oil-powered electricity generation in the United States, and to replace it with wind and solar.
Kevin Stocklin, a reporter for The Epoch Times and producer of “The Shadow State,” says there is evidence this will raise energy prices while effectively doing nothing to reduce carbon dioxide emissions—when the byproducts of manufacturing and building the wind and solar farms is taken into account.
