Board of Elections Miscounts Votes for NYC Mayor

The initial voting results for the Democratic nominee for New York City mayor showed Eric Adams with a sizeable first-place lead over Maya Wiley and Kathryn Garcia. But Tuesday, Adams’s lead shrank considerably after the Board of Elections found they had mistakenly counted over 135,000 test ballots.
