Boris Johnson Opens COP26 Climate Summit

At the opening of the U.N. climate summit, Prime Minister Boris Johnson likened world leaders to James Bond, saying they are up against a real-life “doomsday device.” He said it’s “one minute to midnight” on the doomsday clock. Leaders including U.S. President Joe Biden and Australia’s Scott Morrison are in Glasgow for COP26, the 26th Conference of the Parties. They want to limit global warming to 1.5 degrees.
