Boris Johnson to Announce Return of Imperial Measurements

Boris Johnson is set to announce a post-Brexit pledge to revive imperial measurements this week, to mark the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. The government is expected to publish plans to repeal a European Union law that requires metric units to be used in British shops. While it’s legal to display the prices of goods in pounds and ounces, these need to be shown next to prices in grams and kilos.
