“Lost City of Z” premiered in Los Angeles. Brad Pitt returned to the red carpet for the first time in four months. He joined the other cast members, including Charlie Hunnam, Robert Pattinson, Sienna Miller, and Tom Holland.
The author of the book the movie is based on was also in attendance. Author David Grann spoke about seeing a character in his book come to life for the first time.
“I actually visited them in Columbia when they were shooting the jungle scenes and when we first arrived I got there and I saw this figure walking out of the jungle and he was wearing this heavy kind of flannel army gear, he was bearded, his face was all dirty and I was like, ‘It looks like Percy Harrison Fawcett’ and it was Charlie Hunnam walking toward me.”
