Twenty-year-old Justice Stamper can’t remember August 1, 2014. That was her wedding day. She can’t remember that day is because on August 20, 2014, a few short weeks after her wedding, she was in a horrible car accident. She was injured to the point that they thought she might not survive.

The lucky groom at that wedding was Jeremy Stamper, a Sunday school classmate of hers when she was 10-years -old. In fact, everything was special about that wedding. Even the proposal, when Jeremy went in front of their church congregation and proposed to Justice, was unforgettable.

The wedding was everything they hoped it would be and more and everyone talked about it, remembering all of the beautiful details that were a part of their wedding ceremony. That is, everyone except Justice. She remembered nothing, not even when they said “I do” to each other.  Justice was devastated and it took her more than a month to tell Jeremy that she could not remember their wedding day. Nor could she remember the months prior to it. When Justice shared that news with Jeremy, he promised her immediately that they would do it again. They would have another wedding. One that she could remember forever.
