Christine Quinn was getting married and it was time to choose who would be a part of her wedding party. Of course, she had a list of friends that were close to her and she couldn’t imagine them not being a part of the ceremony. Number one on that list and her closest friend of all was her 89-year-old grandma.
Betty Govern. more commonly referred to as “Nana Betty” was thrilled and honored to be asked, but she had a few concerns. She wanted to make sure this was what her granddaughter truly wanted and questioned her several times about it. Christine had zero doubt, explaining that Nana Betty asked, ‘Why would you want an old lady in your bridal party?’ All of your bridesmaids are young and pretty, why would you want me?'”
Of course, we all know the answer to that question – LOVE.
Nana Betty agreed and turned out to be the “wildest of them all” according to the bride. Everyone was entertained with her jokes, experienced advice, and watching her rippin’ up the dance floor!
