It’s your typical New York City bodega. Except everything is made from felt.

British artist Lucy Sparrow created a 1,200-square-foot model from scratch, complete with felt candy bars, cigarettes, canned beans. It even has a ATM with felt money.

“So I wanted to create all-encompassing art experience of a bodega which is completely disappearing in New York City and I’ve recreated this in felt. Every item is handmade. It’s nine thousand items and it took four planes and nine tons to get here,” she said.

The installation is called “8 Till Late.”

It’s got everything you’d see in a bodega, including your friendly neighborhood cat.

Every item in the store is for sale.

“So you can get an original piece of art for as little as $15 and you know that’s incredible, that’s accessibility to the max,” said Sparrow.

The pop-up art installation runs until the end of June at the Standard Hotel in Manhattan.
