Britain’s Prince William and Prince Harry rewarded 20 deserving teens with the first round of annual Legacy Awards.

The awards recall Princess Diana’s belief that young people could change the world.

These 20 young people are just a tip of an iceberg,” Prince William said at the ceremony.

The winners came from the U.K., U.S., Canada, India, Belize, and United Arab Emirates.

What they had in common was each had done something to improve the world.

“We can never know what our mother would have gone to do,” Prince William said. “But in one sense, Harry and I feel that our mother lives on in the countless acts of compassion and bravery she inspires in others.”
