Queen Elizabeth fed the elephants at London’s newest zoo April 11.
The Queen supports the Zoological Society of London, which opened its new Center for Elephant Care at ZSL Whipsnade Zoo, outside London.
The center houses a herd of nine elephants.
The queen and her husband celebrated the center’s opening by unveiling a commemorative plaque and offering bananas to one of the center’s residents.
