California Considers Legalizing Cannabis Cafes

On May 21, the California Assembly approved in a 58–6 vote AB 1775, which would allow cannabis lounges to sell food and non-alcoholic drinks. The bill is now headed to the State Senate and will require Gov. Gavin Newsom’s signature to become law.
