A protest in Santa Ana, California, on Jan. 9 turned violent when protesters marched on a federal immigration building in response to the fatal ICE-involved shooting of Renee Good in Minneapolis. Two officers and one protester were injured. DHS assistant secretary Tricia McLaughlin called the protesters “violent rioters.”
