The state’s high-speed rail project is increasing its price tag again. An additional $5 billion is getting tacked on to the total estimated cost to finish the project.

A state assemblywoman introduced new legislation, which she calls the “California Parents’ Bill of Rights.” It comes after parents were introduced to what goes on in their children’s classrooms after two years of online learning.

Nearly 27,000 Tesla vehicles were issued a recall, citing visibility concerns due to “decreased defrosting performance.” It’s the third recent software-related recall for the carmaker.
