After a gas tax removal failed to pass at the state capital earlier this week, Democratic lawmakers introduced a gas rebate. People would receive $400 in rebate, whether they drive or not.

Lawmakers introduced a bipartisan bill targeting addictive social media this week. If it passes, it will allow for retroactive lawsuits against social media companies that targeted children. 

Another unseasonal heatwave may be on the way for next week. High temperatures could hit much of the state starting next Tuesday. 

“Drinkable sunscreen” is off the markets in California after the state’s attorney general took the product off the market during an investigation.

Chick-fil-a’s long drive-thru lines are ruffling some feathers in the state. One location is so successful that it may be close to being labeled a public nuisance.
