Canada Summons, Weighs Ousting Chinese Ambassador

Canada may soon oust a Chinese diplomat from its borders, and Beijing is protesting.

A Beijing official was accused of targeting a Canadian lawmaker and his family.

According to the Globe and Mail newspaper, Beijing had sought information about Parliament Member Michael Chong’s relatives who may be in China. Chong is part of Canada’s main opposition Conservative Party, and has voiced opposition toward the Chinese regime.
