Democrats on Capitol Hill are pushing to close out a big package this week, expanding the government’s role in multiple sectors including health care and energy.

Virginia Congressman Bob Good spoke with NTD to discuss the implications of the bill and how he plans to vote on it when it lands in the House later this week. He also addressed a particular concern with the bill—regarding the addition of tens of thousands of new IRS agents.

President Joe Biden visited severely damaged regions of Kentucky, where he met with Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear to survey the destruction caused by devastating flash floods.
