House Republicans showcased their “Commitment to America” plan—their promise to the people in the run-up to the midterms.

We’ll hear from the House Republican leader himself to find out more about the GOP’s plan for a “new direction.”

President Joe Biden pushed back against the Republicans’ proposed agenda Friday, attending an event by the Democratic National Committee. We’ll hear what the president has to say about his party’s promises just weeks ahead of the midterms.

Stocks took a major tumble after the Federal Reserve’s recent rate hike. Chairman Jerome Powell signals that more pain is on the way for the U.S. economy.

Days after Biden was forced to reaffirm America’s one-China policy, the secretary of state met with his Chinese counterpart in New York City. It’s the first high-stakes meeting between the two countries’ officials since Biden remarked that the United States would defend Taiwan in case of an invasion from mainland China.

As the nation deals with a looming fentanyl crisis, a couple of lawmakers want to make distributing fentanyl a felony. We’ll hear from one of them—Congressman Tony Gonzales.
