Many people don’t realize this, but when we tell a story or have a conversation with someone, our voice has a rhythm, a tone, a melody and a style, and a unique flavor of its own, much in the way that music does. Guitarist Publio Delgato first started posting videos of this sometimes hilarious way to show off his skills. Emulating with his guitar, he makes videos of voices that have interesting, intriguing, or even irregular sounds. This could be people talking, yelling, whispering, or anything really. The duality created is pretty amazing, and often silly.

This video is not of Guitarist Publio Delgato, but rather an unnamed saxophone player doing exactly the same thing. Get ready to laugh! The next time you’re in a conversation and find yourself slightly distracted, or maybe more than slightly distracted, listen for the musical quality in a person’s voice and how it might sound on your instrument of choice! I think you’ll be pleasantly entertained.
