‘Cathedral of Glass’ Sainte-Chapelle in France

In the 13th century, it was believed that stained glass windows were built to transform sunlight into divine light, which would enable the manifestation of the divine in our world. With more than a thousand stained glass windows, the Sainte-Chapelle in France deserves to be called the Cathedral of Glass. It was all designed even before the Renaissance began in Europe.
