Migrants from Central America said they won’t be stopped by President Donald Trump’s wall.

These migrants face a long and difficult journey on their way to the United States. Many of them are from Honduras, Salvador, and Guatemala.

They must first cross Mexico, where they will face military and migrant patrollers. There, many of them apply for asylum to buy time and protection.

Authorities in Mexico are overwhelmed with asylum and visa requests. There are long delays for legal appointments.

The migrants sleep in shelters at first, and then in boxes to hide from authorities, as they continue their journey.

Finally, they will face the heavily patrolled U.S.-Mexico border. There are fences, guards, and drones.

But the migrants say they won’t be deterred.

“I think that even if they construct the wall, we will never be stopped. Even if they want to build it with (electric) current and little toys, weapons, they will never stop us because we are fighters. We are immigrants, we are not abandoned and they will not stop us with anything,” said Elvin Garcia, a migrant from Honduras.

They would do anything to get to their families who have made it to the United States.
