Central China Sees COVID-19 Outbreak Amid Heat wave

In central China, numbers of new COVID-19 infections have reached a two-month peak, comes as the country grapples with a heat wave.

Chinese Authorities reported over one thousand new COVID-19 cases Thursday.

That’s according to data from China’s national health center. Based on Beijing’s history of underreporting pandemic figures, the number of cases could be much higher.
