There are more than 61 million disabled Americans living in the United States, with many of them more than qualified to be employed in the country’s labor market. But a lot of people aren’t aware of this talent pool. Melissa Ortiz, who serves at the National Center for Public Policy Research as a senior adviser for the Able Americans Project, spoke with NTD about the issue.
