Conservative MPs who are concerned about the cost of the government’s net zero plan and whether it’s practical, have formed the Net Zero Scrutiny Group. The group’s chair, MP Craig Mackinlay, told NTD that there needs to be a slower transition to renewables and that our nation “shouldn’t be demonising gas.”
