Australia Zoo’s cheetah cubs, Chase and Lawrence, turned one and two respectively in November.

The Zoo in Beerwah, Queensland, celebrated the occasion on Nov. 21, with gifts and cakes filled with some of the cheetah cubs’ favorite treats.

The special cakes were made with milk, chicken, and peanut butter, all tasty proteins that the cubs happily licked away at.

Aside from the special cakes, there was also a large pile of presents for the cheetahs to explore with their handlers.

Lawrence was born at Western Plains Zoo in Dubbo, where his mother didn’t take to him. Luckily, the team at the zoo stepped in to hand-raise him.

According to the Australia zoo, his favorite toy is a cuddly whale, which he carries around proudly.

The two beautiful cheetahs are advocates for their wild cousins and their plight in Africa. Less than 7,000 cheetahs remain, making them vulnerable to extinction.
