Chilean border strike hurting Bolivian truck drivers

Striking Chilean border agents have left trucks trying to cross from Bolivia stranded. Truckers trying to pass are delayed both on the Bolivian and the Chilean side.

About 2,500 trucks are waiting, passing through the border at only 3 or 4 per hour. The Chilean government has been accused of not allowing food access and denying ambulances to cross.

Bolivian industry experts say this is costing Bolivia $11 million in trade per day.
