NTD spoke to political strategist and former congressional candidate, Raven Harrison, to discuss the latest in Iowa ahead of the caucuses.
She explained why voter turnout may not be a huge issue in Iowa—despite bitterly cold weather across the state.
“Iowa is the heartland: This is America’s breadbasket in the middle of our country,” Ms. Harrison said. “They are farmers, they are kitchen-table-issue voters. That means: border, economy, and their 401(k)s, and that’s what has to be the topic. So I think you’re going to see President Trump lock in the nomination.”
