China CDC Admits KP.2 COVID Variant Appeared in China

China’s CDC openly admitted that, as of May 12, at least 25 people across the country were infected with the KP.2 variant.

The strain belongs to a group of COVID-19 variants. Medical experts say this one has become the dominant source of infection cases over the past few months. A China expert and local residents told NTD more about the pandemic inside China.
