China is fighting the biggest outbreak of the Delta variant so far. Authorities in several cities are taking drastic measures to prevent further outbreaks, causing complaints among citizens.
The northeastern city of Dalian is the latest hotspot. Authorities report over 200 new cases from the city, which has a population of 7.4 million.
About a third of the cases are from a local university town. Now over 10,000 students are locked in their dorms and taking online courses.
