China Firm Built Database For Laos Army

According to internal documents obtained by NTD’s sister media The Epoch Times, Chinese officials have been persuading South-Eastern Asian countries to hire a Chinese company to build databases for their entire populations, including their military forces.

China is known for its massive data collection practices on its own citizens. From facial recognition to blood samples to the country’s 200 million surveillance camera, a person’s every move is tracked.
