China in Focus (April 20): Beijing District Declared ‘High Risk’ for CCP Virus

One district in China’s capital has officially been declared ‘high risk’ for the CCP virus. But many believe it’s not the only one.

Provincial authorities in northern China say they will punish officials for failing to contain a new outbreak of the CCP virus there.

And the pandemic is pushing countries to rethink their relationship with China. Today we begin reviewing the United States–China relationship, starting with the role of Wall Street.

NTD refers to the novel coronavirus, which causes the disease COVID-19, as the CCP virus because the Chinese Communist Party’s coverup and mismanagement allowed the virus to spread throughout China and create a global pandemic.
