China in Focus (April 27): Internal Documents Reveal Delay in CCP Virus Measures

Internal documents obtained by NTD reveal how provinces in China delayed implementing the highest level of emergency measures.

The situation is worsening in China’s northernmost province. Residents say hospitals are clearing out patients and starting to only treat infected ones.

A Chinese rights lawyer reunited with his wife and son for the first time since he went missing in August 2015.

As CCP virus cases top a million in the US, some states are starting to open up while others say “Not so fast.”

And as the number of global virus cases soar, many countries are taking note of how Taiwan responded to the outbreak. Taiwan boasts some of the lowest numbers in the world.

NTD refers to the novel coronavirus, which causes the disease COVID-19, as the CCP virus because the Chinese Communist Party’s coverup and mismanagement allowed the virus to spread throughout China and create a global pandemic.
