China in Focus (June 25): Teenager Accuses Hong Kong Police of Sexual Assault

China’s capital city has been hit by more than just the virus. A significant hailstorm hammered the city this week, but the shape of the hail took locals by surprise.

Hong Kong’s young protestors are speaking out about alleged sexual assault during police detentions. Their struggle against the Chinese regime’s encroachment on their city’s autonomy continues as a successful businessman traveled to the United States to appeal to the Trump administration to do more to help the protesters.

Several former CNN reporters are now working for China’s overseas propaganda arm, producing reports in line with the communist regime’s narrative.

And U.S. criticism of Beijing’s politics is growing. White House National Security Advisor Robert O’Brien has adding his voice, warning that communist ideology is a problem for the entire world.
