China lowered its 2019 GDP figure. That way it’s 2020 growth figures look better. China’s lowered its 2019 GDP growth from 6.1 percent to 6 percent. It’s mainly due to a cut in manufacturing of $77 billion dollars. China often revises its GDP figures at the end of the year. But many doubt the accuracy of the numbers because of political pressure to meet growth targets. This year, the Chinese regime, in a rare decision, didn’t announce a growth target. Analysts expect China’s GDP to grow around 2 percent in 2020.
