China Names Hardliner to Head Hong Kong Security Agency

Beijing has appointed a tough-talking Communist official from mainland China to lead a powerful new security agency in Hong Kong.

The official heading the agency, Zheng Yanxiong, was formerly the Communist Party’s secretary for the southern province of Guangdong.
