China Resists Zuckerberg’s Quest Headset Sales

Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg is struggling to get his new Quest headsets on shelves in China, with the country’s Communist party seemingly refusing to forgive and forget his past criticisms.

Since 2009, Facebook and its sister networks have been effectively banned in China due to the platform’s refusal to comply with censorship.

Zuckerberg even attempted to learn Mandarin and held meetings with Chinese officials in an effort to establish a presence in the country. But it was largely unsuccessful.
