China’s Chip Imports Take 20 Percent Hit Amid Tech War

On the tech front, China is feeling the impacts of U.S. microchip sanctions. The country saw its chip imports drop by 20 percent in the first five months of this year, according to official customs data.

Those penalties mean trade from Japan and South Korea has also been shrinking, amid the tech war between the United States and China.
