As countries ramp up their efforts to combat the coronavirus pandemic, the Chinese regime’s propaganda arm is trying to alter the narrative. From today on at NTD, we’ll call it the “CCP virus,” short for “Chinese communist party virus,” because the Chinese regime’s coverup and mismanagement allowed the virus to spread throughout China and create a global pandemic.

There is new evidence of the Chinese regime issuing false information on the coronavirus. Taiwan’s Ministry of Justice Investigation Bureau issued a warning of the disinformation surrounding the CCP virus on March 18. This, after they pointed out 271 cases on file for investigation. Out of those 271, 70 percent came from the communist regime’s cyberattacks.
