The Cyberspace Administration of China will review products sold by U.S. memory-chip maker Micron Technology. Beijing says the probe is to prevent security risks and to maintain national security.
The investigation comes after Washington announced curbs on China’s semiconductor industry, with export controls aimed to hinder Beijing’s goal to become a tech power.
