Chinese Firms Own 20 Percent of Stake in Mercedes Maker

Chinese companies now own nearly 20 percent of stake in Daimler, the maker of Mercedes-Benz. The German carmaker announced Monday, that the Chinese state-owned Beijing Automotive Group currently has a 9.98 percent stake in the company. That’s in addition to Chinese car company Geely Holding Group’s 9.7 percent stake.
