In China’s eastern Shandong province one human rights activist hung the national flags of the United States, Britain, and Australia from the windows of his apartment on Monday.
The activist, named Sui Shuangsheng, said his unusual display was an effort to condemn the Chinese Communist Party’s, or CCP’s, tyranny. In a video posted online, he shouted: “Long live democracy, dictatorship must die!”
