A trial is kicking off in Boston tied to Wu Xiaolei, a music student from China, studying at Berklee over charges that he allegedly threatened to chop off an activist’s hands all because she posted fliers supporting democracy for China on campus.
The activist posted a photo of the flier on Instagram. Mr. Wu allegedly demanded that she take down the fliers and said he reported her to authorities back in China.
