During Secretary of State Antony Blinken’s recent visit to Beijing, China’s foreign minister Wang Yi warned the United States not to tread on China’s so-called red lines. Meanwhile, Chinese communist regime leader Xi Jinping reportedly warned Mr. Blinken to stop being two-faced, accusing the American side of “saying one thing and doing another.”

But what is China’s strategy behind the scenes, and could they be preparing for conflict? NTD spoke to retired Col. John Mills, a senior fellow at the Center for Security Policy and the author of “The Nation Will Follow,” to get his perspective.
