Residents in Dandong, a city in China that borders North Korea, are wary of the increasing tension in the region.

There are concerns that North Korea will soon conduct its sixth nuclear test.

Meanwhile, the United States is also diverting the aircraft carrier strike group Carl Vinson toward the Korean Peninsula.

Locals think if the United States attacks Pyongyang it would cause chaos in the region.

Despite reports of the Chinese government sending troops to the border, Dandong residents have not seen an increase in troops on either side of the Yalu River that separates the two countries.
