Surveillance footage showed a Chinese toddler narrowly escaping death.
The incident took place in China’s southwestern city Xichang on April 24.
The girl was running across a busy intersection and appeared to fall after being hit by a car. Two cars drove over her, as she crouched on the ground.
Her grandmother then caught up to her.
The 2-year-old’s head was slightly grazed but she did not suffer any major injuries, according to local police’s Weibo post.
The toddler had been running away from her grandmother before the incident occurred, according to China’s state-run media.
