Chinese Warships Spotted in International Waters

China’s aircraft carrier Liaoning and five warships were spotted passing through international waters in the Miyako Strait off southwestern Japan on Saturday. Japan has sent a destroyer and two patrol aircraft to “gather information and monitor the movements of the Chinese vessels.”
