Chipotle wants to add 15,000 workers in the United States as it benefits from strong demand during the pandemic. It’s holding its first national hiring event this year—scheduled for Thursday. As of September, the company had over 2,700 restaurants.
Even as family-owned restaurants have had to shut down, several fast-food chains have increased hiring in recent months to meet demand. That includes major pizza chains like Papa John’s and Domino’s, and other big names like McDonald’s.
