Cut banana into slices and insert one scoop of peanut butter in between two slices. Place the banana bites on a wax paper and freeze for 1 hour. Combine chocolate chips and shortening in a bowl and microwave in 15 second increments. Stir after each time until all chocolate chips are melted. Remove banana bites from the freezer and dip into chocolate, then put it back onto the wax paper and freeze again for 1 hour before serving.

Chocolate dipped clementine oranges with sea salt:
Peel and segment clementines. Combine chocolate chips and shortening in a bowl and microwave in 15 second increments. Stir each time until all chocolate chips are melted. Dip clementine segments into chocolate then place on wax paper. Sprinkle with fine sea salt. Freeze for 1 hour before serving.

Cut bacon strips in half. Cook bacon on stove top until crispy or in oven at 375 F for 15 minutes. Combine chocolate chips and shortening in a bowl and microwave in 15 second increments. Stir each time until all chocolate chips are melted. Carefully dip each half strip of bacon into chocolate then place on wax paper. Freeze for 1 hour before serving.
