Chris Evans spoke at a promo event for his new movie “Gifted.” In “Gifted” he plays an uncle to a young girl, a smaller film, unlike his usual superhero fare. Besides promoting the movie Evans had advice on the social media activities of celebrities.

Chris Evans spoke about how he thinks celebrities are forced to use social media a little differently.

“There’s certainly a lot more scrutiny, a lot more eyeballs, things that you do or say can be repeated in a much louder fashion so I think that makes certain people more cautious. I think it makes people a little bit lazy if you do or say something, it’s very easy to take little snippets of that and blast that out there without knowing the whole story so it enables a lot of people to misbehave in a way and as a result people at the center of it—the actors and the people being watched—have to be a little more mindful, which I think at times can cause them to be a little bit more taciturn, which is in my opinion a bit of a shame.”
