Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) has been admitted to an area hospital for antibiotic infusions to address an infection, his office said on Tuesday.
“He is in good spirits and will return to work as soon as possible following doctors’ orders,” his office said in a statement.
Mr. Grassley, 90, was previously hospitalized almost exactly one year ago for hip surgery.
