Citizens Must Help Anti-Spying Effort: Beijing Agency

A top ministry in Beijing urged civilians to join the country’s anti-spying efforts.

China’s state security ministry just launched an official account on WeChat—a popular Chinese social media. It’s Beijing’s top foreign intelligence gathering agency.

In its first post-Tuesday, it suggested the country should encourage citizens to participate in counter-espionage work. Going on to propose ways for people to report suspicious activity and rewards for doing so.
